With most of the leaves gone now, my back porch is almost unpleasantly sunny by the late morning. Today, I’ve had to turn the swing all the way to the right, holding myself in place with my feet on the rungs of the stool I use as a table, to not have the glare in my eyes.
It means I can’t watch the landscapers across the road putting gravel in the yard …
