Patriotism

I’ve always been a bit hokey about patriotic stuff. Not in a love it or leave it way, more in a tearing up at the Lincoln Memorial way. I was born on the third of July, so the Fourth feels personal. I love fireworks. I love the noise and the flash, and I love standing with hundreds of other people experiencing them all together.
